I'm really worried about ILD and whether it's curable or not. I've read online that people with ILD only live for about 3 to 5 years. Is that true? Is there anything specific I can do to help manage this disease? Id really appreciate any advice or remedies you can suggest.

View allSo, I got a chest X-ray done a couple of days ago, and the results came back showing something about bilateral prominent hila and prominent bronchovascular markings in both lung fields. I'm trying to wrap my head around what this means. Is it something serious that I need to worry about? Should I be looking into treatment for it? Lately, I've been experiencing some shortness of breath and breathing issues too. Would love to get some insight on this.
The X-ray findings suggest increased prominence of the lung structures, which could be due to various conditions like inflammation, infection, or early signs of lung diseases. Since you're experiencing shortness of breath, it's important to follow up with your doctor for further evaluation and appropriate treatment. They may recommend additional tests to determine the cause and guide you on the necessary steps for management.

I'm really worried about my husband. He was in a car accident and has a light chest injury, no bleeding, but we decided to do a CT scan just to be safe. The report says he has pulmonary nodules on his left lower lobe, one is 2 mm and the other is 4 mm. Could these nodules be a result of something serious? He did have COVID three years ago, could that be related in any way? I'm just trying to understand what this might mean.

I've been having this problem lately where I'm really short of breath, sort of like when I had asthma a few years ago. But it's weird because I don't have a cough or anything else with it. It's starting to worry me a bit. Do you think it could be the asthma coming back, or could it be something else? What should I do about it?
