I'm really struggling with cold and cough that's been going on for quite some time now, and I found out it's actually allergic asthma. I'm thinking about getting a PFT test done. What do you think? Would that help in understanding my condition better?

View allI'm really worried about my dad's CT HRCT report since he's 50 today, and I just don't fully understand it. The findings say things like "pulmonary interstitium is normal bilaterally," and theres no "nodular shadowing" or "ground glass haze." The report also mentions the "peribronchovascular tissue is unremarkable," which sounds like a good thing, but Im not sure. Plus, it says no "pleural effusion" or "calcification" is seen, and the "cardiovascular markings are of normal caliber." The impression just says "normal study." Does this mean everythings okay, and theres really nothing to worry about? Could you explain it so I can be sure Im understanding this right?
need not worry , its normal

I've been dealing with this cough since December 31st. It started with a sore throat and then turned into a cough and later came the colds. The cold has mellowed out now, but this persistent cough is bothering me. It feels like there are tiny hairs or dust particles stuck in my throat, and it's rough and dry, but not much phlegm. I've been taking Mucobron Forte capsules and they help a bit, but the cough's not gone yet and it's been 3 days. Should I keep taking them or maybe switch to Fluimucil? What do you think?
Continue those medicines for a week and rest your throat until you recover, sip hot water and dosalt water gargling for a better result.

I've been dealing with asthma since I was 20, and my doctor has me using an asthma pump twice a day. I'm really wondering if using the pump and taking medicines can actually completely cure my asthma. Is there hope for getting rid of it entirely, or will I need to manage it this way long-term?
yes it can be cured
