I'm genuinely concerned about my aunt who's dealing with COPD and sleep apnea. Her sleep is really disrupted and her oxygen levels drop significantly during the night, hitting a low of 67 from her normal 92-94. We had a sleep study done and it showed issues like obstructive apneas, hypopneas, and hypoventilation, all causing serious drops in her oxygen levels and messing up her sleep. She stayed in sinus rhythm all night, which I'm not sure is a good or bad sign. She's also having trouble breathing in general and seems to be struggling with her weight. I'm pretty worried about her health and would really appreciate some guidance on what steps to take next.

View allI'm trying to wrap my head around this whole smoker's cough thing. I quit smoking about a month ago, but now I'm dealing with this annoying cough, some wheezing, and it's slightly hard to breathe sometimes. Any idea how long these symptoms will stick around? Are there any home remedies I can try, or do I need to go for medication? I was at 12 cigarettes a day for 12 years, so I'm kind of worried. What do you think?

I've been doing deep breathing and anulom Vilom pranayams for about 45 days now, and I'm starting to feel a heaviness in my head, like I'm going to faint, and theres a weird sensation in my cervical area when I do them. My oxygen levels and breath-holding are actually pretty good, but I also notice I have a lot of gas or acidity. I'm a bit concerned about what's happening and would really appreciate any advice on what could be causing this and how I might treat it.

How long is it safe to keep a pulse oximeter on my finger? I've noticed that when I leave it on for a while, the readings sometimes start to drop. Is this something to be concerned about?
