I'm feeling really worried because for the past couple of days, I've been dealing with a dry nose and now it feels super itchy. I don't have a cold or any other symptoms like a headache or fever, but I'm breastfeeding my baby and I'm concerned if these could be symptoms of a virus. Can you give me some advice on what this might be and what I should do? I'd really appreciate your help!

View allI'm feeling this heaviness or pressure on the right side of my throat, like there's some pain there. There's no fever, cough, or anything like that. When I press on it, I feel something like a bean moving upward when I swallow. I only notice it when I swallow something. Could it be a gland or a tumor? If it were throat cancer, wouldn't I have a cough, fever, or other symptoms? I'm really scared. Can you tell me what the exact symptoms of throat cancer are?

I'm really worried about my throat. The doctors said its chronic pharyngitis, and Ive been on antibiotics and antiallergics. I tried ibuprofen for the swelling, but it just comes back when I stop taking it. Sometimes, my right ear hurtsmaybe its because of my tonsils? I also have gastritis, so could it be LPR or GERD? Im a singer, and its been two months since Ive been able to sing. It's really upsetting. I've already seen three doctors but no luck. What should I do?

Feels like there's something stuck in my throat, and it's super annoying and irritating. There's no pain, but I'm really uncomfortable. How can I get rid of this feeling?
It sounds like you may be experiencing globus pharyngeus, which is the sensation of a lump or something stuck in the throat without any actual blockage. To help alleviate this discomfort, you can try gargling with warm salt water, drinking plenty of fluids, and sucking on throat lozenges. Additionally, you can try over-the-counter antacids like Tums or Rolaids to reduce any acid reflux that may be contributing to the sensation. If the feeling persists, you may consider using an over-the-counter mucolytic agent like Guaifenesin (e.g. Mucinex) to help thin out any mucus that could be causing the sensation.
