I'm diabetic and have been for about 45 months. My latest HBA1C reading came back as 5.6, and I'm trying to understand what that really means. Also, I noticed my mean blood glucose level is 122 mgdL. Could you explain if that's considered normal or not? I'm a bit concerned and would love some clarity.

View allI'm dealing with chronic urticaria and I'm wondering if its okay for me to take Allegra or Cetirizine on the day of my embryo transfer and afterwards. Can you advise? I'm kinda anxious about how these meds might affect the process or the embryo itself. What do you suggest I do?
For chronic urticaria, you can take Allegra (Fexofenadine) or Cetirizine. On the day of embryo transfer, you can take Allegra 180mg once daily or Cetirizine 10mg once daily. After embryo transfer, you can continue taking Allegra 180mg once daily or Cetirizine 10mg once daily as needed for your chronic urticaria.

I'm really worried about my vitamin D levels, they're really low at 7.6. I tried taking calciferol 60k, but it made me feel so sick with vomiting, severe restlessness, and even dryness and burning in my head and heart that lasted a while. Now, I'm managing to take Calcimax syrup, 5ml twice a day, but after each dose, I get heartburn and feel restless for 3-4 hours. I'm also on Polybin since my B13 is at 247, and luckily that isn't causing any issues. However, I once tried Astime syrup and ended up with a rash and swelling inside my upper lip. What should I do?
-It sounds like her vitamin D levels are quite low, and the side effects from calciferol and Calcimax syrup are causing significant discomfort, including heartburn and restlessness. Since she had a reaction to Astime syrup, it's important to find a suitab

I'm curious about whether it's okay for someone with a hypothyroid condition to drink Ragi malt or Ragi Java. Could consuming ragi millets have any adverse effects on hypothyroidism?
Ragi malt or Ragi Java can be safely consumed by most people with hypothyroidism, but like any food, its best to eat it in moderation. If you consume ragi or other millets frequently, it may be a good idea to monitor your thyroid levels regularly with your doctor and ensure youre getting enough iodine. Ensure a well-balanced diet, and consider reducing your intake of other goitrogenic foods if you are concerned about the impact on your thyroid.
