Im dealing with a fever, cold, and sore throat. I'm wondering if I can take Meftal Spas instead of Meftal P for this. Are there any side effects I should worry about?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Meftal Spas contains a combination of Dicyclomine and Paracetamol, which is primarily used for abdominal pain and cramps. It is not recommended for treating fever, cold, or sore throat. Meftal P, on the other hand, contains Paracetamol as the active ingredient, which is commonly used to reduce fever and relieve pain. It would be more suitable for your symptoms. Taking Meftal Spas instead of Meftal P may not effectively address your current symptoms and could potentially lead to inadequate treatment. It is important to use the appropriate medication for your specific condition to avoid any complications.

View allI'm wondering, after how many days of having a common cold can my mom safely get her second dose of Covishield? It's already time for her to get it, but she recently had a cold that's mostly under control now, though she's still got a bit of a cough. Is it okay for her to take the vaccine now, or would it be a problem if she delays the second dose because the vaccine isn't available?

I'm really confused and worried about what's happening with me. Not too long ago, I had typhoid and after the 10-day treatment, the tests said I'm clear. But soon after getting back to my routine, I started driving for a long time, like 9 hours, and then a couple of days later, my hands and feet felt cold again, which was the initial symptom of my typhoid. Now, even though the typhoid seems to be gone, I'm experiencing this overwhelming weakness in my body and I can't seem to stand on my legs properly. What could be causing this?
The recurring coldness in hands and feet, along with weakness and inability to stand, could be due to post-typhoid complications, anemia, vitamin deficiencies, or neurological issues, so consult your doctor immediately for a thorough evaluation, including blood tests and physical examination, to determine the underlying cause and guide appropriate treatment.

I've been feeling a weird pain in the bone area near my chest, just to the left of the breastbone. It really hurts when I press on it, and sometimes I get this sudden shock-like pain when I breathe. When I don't press it, there's usually no pain. What could be causing this?
muscle strain - Take tab zerodol Mr for 3 days
