I'm checking my oxymeter, and it's showing a reading of 97. I'm a bit worried though because I read somewhere that oxymeters also pick up carboxyhemoglobin, so the real oxygen level might actually be below 90, maybe even 80. I've been feeling restless and anxious about this. I have some breathing issues, like I get tired when just eating or talking. Plus, when I wake up, I can really feel the air passing through my nose and throat, but my throat feels swollen. I'm on an Ayurvedic treatment for acidity for the past two months since I tried allopathy for one and a half months before, but it didn't work, and the issue keeps coming back. I also experience body pain and weakness. I had a chest X-ray, CBC, sugar test, abdomen sonography, and kidney function test about 15-20 days ago, and everything was normal. So, is it alright to rely on the oxymeter reading in my situation?

I've been having chest pain for about two weeks now, mostly on the left side under my breast. It's really uncomfortable because it gets worse when I lie down and feels like it's traveling to my back. Breathing deeply is painful, like a pinching feeling, and sneezing isn't an option because of the pain. I also feel like there's mucus in my throat, although I'm not coughing much. Last year around this time, I had a bad cough that lasted a month. When I saw a doctor last year, they had me do a chest X-ray and an HRCT, but those were normal, as was my CBC test. They gave me a painkiller with paracetamol since I had a fever in the beginning, but the fever's gone now. The chest pain isn't improving and seems to be getting worse. Do you have any advice on what I should do?

take a painkiller if yoy are having pain. drink plenty of water

I've been having this really odd experience where my oxygen levels are consistently around 98 to 100, and my blood pressure is at 12074, which seems normal. But at night, I often feel like I'm not getting enough air or like I can't breathe, even though the oximeter says I'm at 99 to 100. It'll wake me up, and it makes sleeping kind of an anxiety-riddled task because I'm worried about not being able to breathe even when I'm actually doing it. I talked to a doctor about it, and they had me do a chest x-ray and liver function test, which came back alright, and gave me some meds. Still, when I try to sleep, there's this constant fear of being short of breath, and, for like 10 to 15 seconds, I actually do feel breathless. Any advice on what might be going on?

since your saturation is normal, it might be due to anxiety . try reducing your stress

I'm curious about monitoring my lung capacity weekly with a peak flow meter. It consistently shows 350 to 400 LM, which stays within the green zone, and although I feel okay, I'm wondering if that's sufficient to keep track of my lung health. Since being diagnosed with bronchitis, I've become increasingly concerned about my lungs, especially because of the thick phlegm. Should I be doing more than just the peak flow meter, like maybe a pulmonary function test, to get a clearer picture of my lung function? Id appreciate some advice on this.

do pulmonary function test once ,no need to repeat every week
