I'm checking my oxymeter, and it's showing a reading of 97. I'm a bit worried though because I read somewhere that oxymeters also pick up carboxyhemoglobin, so the real oxygen level might actually be below 90, maybe even 80. I've been feeling restless and anxious about this. I have some breathing issues, like I get tired when just eating or talking. Plus, when I wake up, I can really feel the air passing through my nose and throat, but my throat feels swollen. I'm on an Ayurvedic treatment for acidity for the past two months since I tried allopathy for one and a half months before, but it didn't work, and the issue keeps coming back. I also experience body pain and weakness. I had a chest X-ray, CBC, sugar test, abdomen sonography, and kidney function test about 15-20 days ago, and everything was normal. So, is it alright to rely on the oxymeter reading in my situation?

View allI recently had a chest X-ray and it came back saying that there are prominent bilateral hilar shadows. I'm a bit worried and would really like to understand what this means. Could you explain it to me?
Bilateral Hilar Shadows being prominent on your chest X-ray typically indicates enlargement or prominence of the lymph nodes in the hilar region of the lungs, which can be caused by various conditions such as tuberculosis, sarcoidosis, lymphoma, or other inflammatory or infectious diseases, and further testing or evaluation by a specialist is usually required to determine the underlying cause.

I'm just wondering how long it'll take for the tiredness and sleepiness to go away after starting TB meds. It's only been a couple of days since starting treatment, but I'm feeling really wiped out and uneasy all day. Is this normal, and how soon might I start to feel better?
he should take good amount of nutritious food

I'm really worried about my mom... She was diagnosed with COVID, and we're now on the 14th day. Luckily, she hasn't had a fever for the last 6 days. Her CT scan on the 5th day showed a 625 score, and she started taking 40 mg of Predmet, which seemed to help with the fever. But now, I'm concerned about her D-dimer levels; they were at 1300 and after 4 injections of 40 mg Enoxaparin, it's down to 1100. I'm just really anxious to know how long it'll take for her D-dimer levels to drop below 500. Is there a typical timeframe for this to happen?
Atleast 3-5 days is advised to the patient.
