I'm a bit confused and worried about my recent HRCT thorax report. It mentioned that there are a few subcentimetric lymph nodes in the pre-tracheal and pre-carinal regions, but everything else seems normal. I've been having breathing issues, though my PFT report came back completely normal. It turns out the breathing problem is caused by an arytenoid covering half of my vocal cord. I just need to know, are these subcentimetric lymph nodes something to worry about, or are they considered normal?

Subcentimetric Lymph Nodes:
- Generally, subcentimetric lymph nodes in the thorax are not immediately concerning, especially if there are no other abnormal findings or symptoms.
-
Breathing Issues:
- The breathing problem related to the arytenoid affecting the vocal cord should be evaluated by an ENT specialist. This is likely the primary cause of your symptoms.
-
Recommendations:
- Follow up with your healthcare provider to monitor the lymph nodes.
- Consult an ENT specialist for further assessment and management of the arytenoid issue.

I'm a 50-year-old mom of two and I've been struggling with this unbearable coughing. It's like I can't stop until I cough up the phlegm, which is really painful. My doctor gave me some medicine and suggested using a nebulizer, but honestly, I'm not satisfied and just want to understand what's really wrong. Can you help me figure out what might be causing this?

I'm planning a trip to Leh where the altitude ranges from 10,000 to 18,000 feet, but I've got some concerns. I had a heart bypass surgery back in 2004 and was diagnosed with ILD in 2015. I'm currently taking six Pirfenex daily. Do you think it would be safe for me to go on this trip to such high altitudes, or could it pose any risks to my health?
its better you avoid high altitude at this point
