Can someone explain what is the difference between milia and molluscum ..???
I am facing with one of the problem but not able to identify it ..
Some doctors are saying its molluscum and others are saying it is milia ..
Milia and molluscum are two distinct skin conditions that can be confusing to diagnose.
Milia
Milia, also known as milk spots or keratin cysts, are small, white or yellowish bumps on the skin. They occur when keratin, a protein, becomes trapped beneath the skin's surface.
Characteristics of milia:

- White or yellowish in color
- Firm to the touch
- Typically found on the face, especially around the eyes, nose, and mouth
- Can also occur on the arms, legs, and torso
Molluscum Contagiosum
Molluscum contagiosum is a viral skin infection caused by the molluscum contagiosum virus (MCV). It leads to the formation of small, flesh-colored or pink bumps on the skin.
Characteristics of molluscum contagiosum:
- Small, usually 2-5 mm in diameter
- Flesh-colored or pink in color
- Soft to the touch
- Typically found on the face, neck, arms, and legs
- Can be contagious through skin-to-skin contact or sharing personal items
