I recently noticed a small bump on my nose about 1/2 inch in size that just wont go away. I dont usually get acne, but my pores do tend to get clogged easily, and I sometimes get flesh-toned bumps. This one started out as a small bump, but it turned into a big, painful, red bump. Its not filled with pus, but there's blood and some clear fluid inside. Ive tried everything I can think of, but its not going away. Any idea what this could be and how I should treat it?
Sounds like you may be dealing with a stubborn cyst or abscess on your nose. In such cases, a topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin can help prevent infection and promote healing. You can apply it to the affected area twice a day. Additionally, warm compresses can help reduce inflammation and promote drainage. If the bump does not improve or if you develop fever or worsening pain, it's important to see a healthcare provider for further evaluation and possible drainage.
