I recently had an x-ray done because of the pandemic situation we're in right now. Could you take a look at the x-ray and let me know if there's anything concerning? I'm not having any breathing issues, but I want to make sure everything looks okay.

View allI'm a bit confused about something that came up in my chest X-ray report. It mentions "anterior left 4th and right 3rd bifid ribs." The doctor didn't really elaborate and just mentioned that it's normal, but I'm still curious. Could this affect my health in any way, or is it something I shouldn't worry about? Would love to get a little more insight on what this means.
Bifib ribs are usually asymtomatic. If it causes nerve damage surgery is indicated.Partial resection of the bifid rib relieves the pain.
