I had a medical test for work in Saudi Arabia, and my TPHA/VDRL test came back reactive. I then went to a dermatologist in Hyderabad, who did a biopsy and found the same result, asking me to take a penicillin injection and get retested after 4 weeks. I took the injection and went for the retest after 8 weeks, but the result is still reactive. Is the diagnosis correct, and is this condition not curable? I also have some skin rashes (no pain or itching) that started in 2009 when I traveled to New York/New Jersey. I had shown them to a doctor there, but no treatment seemed to help.

This looks like Syphilis, penicillin is the drug of choice for this condition and it's curable no need to worry follow as your Dermatologist advised you some cases need long-term treatment.
