Hi doctor, Ive been dealing with ringworm on different parts of my body. Ive tried fluconazole, terbinafine, and various creams, but nothing seems to work. Right now, Im using Zalim lotion. Should I continue with this or try something else?
Fluconazole and terbinafine are commonly used antifungal medications for ringworm. In addition to these, using topical antifungal creams can also be helpful. Zalim lotion contains clobetasol propionate which is a steroid used to reduce inflammation and itching associated with skin conditions. For better results, continue using Zalim lotion as directed and also consider adding an antifungal cream containing clotrimazole or miconazole to your treatment regimen. Make sure to apply the medications consistently and keep the affected areas clean and dry.
