Potential Reasons for Persistent Pain
1. Infection: Bacterial or fungal infections can cause pain, redness, and swelling.
2. Nerve damage: The nerve endings in your toe may be irritated or damaged during the procedure.
3. Incomplete healing: The wound may not be healing properly, leading to ongoing pain.
4. Pressure or friction: Ill-fitting shoes or socks may be causing pressure or friction on the affected toe.
4. Keep the wound clean and dry: Continue with alternate dressing and ensure the wound is cleaned and dried properly.
5. Elevate your foot: Whenever possible, elevate your foot above the level of your heart to reduce swelling.
6. Wear comfortable shoes: Choose shoes that fit well and don't put pressure on the affected toe. and take pain killer and if there are any signs of infections then take antibiotics also
