You must have heard this a million times but taking the stairs is one of the best ways to keep your body moving. Climbing the stairs can strengthen your lower extremities, improve heart rate, increase muscle strength, build endurance, and improve mental health.
Cycling or walking to the office is a good idea if you live close enough. Not only is it pocket-friendly but also environment-friendly. Even if you live far and use public transport to commute to work, you can get off one or two stops earlier and take a walk. This may take some planning but it’s worth it!
Whether you are working from home or office, you must take a small break at least every 30 mins to stretch your body. A short walk is ideal but if you cannot, then you can do some stretching exercises while sitting on a chair.
