L1 compression fracture

Dr Rawall and his team were excellent in all aspects of their care. Dr Rawall has excellent communication skills and kept us fully informed of the whole treatment plan. He was with us and supported us in the complex journey throughout. The surgical outcomes have also been superb. He performed a spinal fixation on my mother for L1 compression fracture and she is not in any pain now and has been able to walk within days of the surgery. We are extremely thankful to Dr Rawall for his awesome care.

These are the accolades from the very South West corner of my heart to Dr Saurabh Rawall (senior consultant spine surgery at Indraprastha Appolo Hospital New Delhi) During 7-8 Dec2023 night my son Vinay aged about 28-29 sneezed many times. While sneezing he fell down and started crying. He felt severe pain in lower back and left leg. Immediately I took him to Agra and consulted a top rated neurologist. He advised me some blood tests and MRI After seeing reports he said he has a lumber spine disc bulge severely that he has full foot drop with numbness, erectile dysfunction and bladder and bowel movement problem . He advised me immediate surgery. I became nervous as there is a myth in our area that surgery on spine is life threatening. Leaves many adverse effects life long. But I didn't lose hope. I consulted many Neuro physicians and surgeons physically and online in Agra and Jaipur. All advised surgery. Many of my friends told me top rated doctors both in Agra and Jaipur. But during the night of 14/12/23 when I was searching on google, Fortunately I saw the video of Respected Dr Saurabh Rawall. Intuitively I was impressed by him. A firm belief imbibed in me. I immediately thought he is the only Angel in the form of green apron that can make my son ok. ( belief matters most. I don't know which doctor is good. Better and best. I soon took an appointment with him. He gave date of 18/12/2023 morning shift at Appolo Hospital Delhi. Even while in ot wth his expert team, he gave minutes by whatsapp. After 2 or 3 hours a message came from him operation is successful per plan without any complication. Next day he would make my son walk and discharge. After 15 days of surgery my son walks, little pain. Now his foot drop recovery is 20% Hope he will recover fully within three months. Dr Rawall and his team deserve appreciation🙏 Some doctors treat but there are others who let nature heel. I don't know which category he comes in. I only know he is perfect master of his profession. Soft spoken, simple, very cooperative, active and energetic He has the capacity to make a molehill out of a mountain to both his patient and attendant. I pray🙏 Almighty that oneday he may be awarded not only Bidhan Chandra Roy Award but also Noble Prize. Regards

slip disc

I am 37 and very active in sports. I am going to write a detailed review because when I suffered the slip disk issue then I came to realise that so many people who know me are suffering from this. For the last 5 months, I have been suffering from back pain. I have visited many medical professionals to get a cure for this problem. Soon I came to know that my back pain was because of the l5-S1 disc herniation or slip disk in general terms. Two weeks back he performed a microdiscectomy on L5 S1 in Indraprastha Apollo hospital and it was successful. After 14 days I am pain-free. I stopped taking pain medication in less than 5 days as prescribed by Dr. Present Condition: I feel confident in walking and easily walk up to 3 km, there is no pain in my left leg or the place of the incision. I am still in the recovery phase and taking precautions. I would like to thank Dr Saurabh Rawall and his team for their expertise and humble behaviour. He has given me his direct connect and asked me to call in case I face any difficulty. His Coordinator Dinesh Ji made the paperwork easy for me. And thanks to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital for the modern equipment and best treatment. Thanks.
