Two things I want to share about sir. 1) When you talk with him , first thing you forget is your stress/tension/any problem, that's the impact when you are in his presence. 2) About his speciality, one proverb action speaks more louder than words

Our eyes tell a lot about a person - they communicate our ability to empathise, our emotions, personality, and engagement + interest levels. One of the first things I noticed about Dr Raghunath K J is his kind eyes. Rest as you can guess was a successful surgery and recuperation of my super senior citizen Mother, upon whom, Doctor Raghunath performed hernia surgery. Her age made the already big surgery even more scary for me but somewhere between his assuring personality, positive vibes, sense of humor, clarity on what needs to be done, and insistence on the right thing to do, Dr Raghunath had me all convinced that he will have Amma up and running to Kundrakudi for our upcoming family deity visit. Apollo Greams is super out of the way for me, considering how I have Apollo Perungudi w/in 5km radius of my home. But Dr Raghunath came with high recommendations and he surpassed my expectations, making all those trips worth our time. What I love about Dr Raghunath is the clarity with which he explains what will be done. And his humility. And a Doctor of his stature not just responds on WhatsApp but is also accommodating of all our requests, when he can! May Murugan give Dr Raghunath all the energy he needs to keep up the absolutely dedicated and amazing work that he does for the people! A piece of my heart will always remain with him, with gratitude, for all that he did for my Mother!

Papillary thyroid carcinoma

Two years ago I was diagnosed with Papillary thyroid carcinoma, I underwent surgery with Dr. K J Raghunath sir, he works with accurate precision I can guarantee. After the surgery, I was really worried about my scar on the neck. I was surprised with his work and minute details with the scar. He gave all the confidence as one could, to cheer me up and boost me to get back on to my normal day to day activities. After few months, I had some nodal recurrences, unfortunately I had my second surgery done with him, he gave me all the confidence to be back on my life and pursue all I ever wanted. I took him as my role model and am working towards all the qualities he has. He is very enthusiastic and energetic person, which everyone should learn from him and he is incredible with his work and duties. Not only has he taken great care of my health, but also he is lovely to speak with at every meeting. It’s very very rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care and surgery skills. I highly recommend becoming his patient! I especially loved how he really took his time and patience to explain my conditions with me and my family as well as my treatment options. He took all the care from day one when I met him till the end of my treatment with him. I would say I am blessed to get Dr. K J Raghunath as my surgeon.
